challenging against Bill gates

Ramlal Bhagat, a XII std. student from Haryana, has developed a 32-bitoperating system demonstrated to be far superior to any of the desktopoperating systems in the market today.
The program has been named "O-Yes". O-Yes provides operating system services on any Pentium-based Personal computer (PC) and does not require MS- DOS as a base operating system. The operating system's capabilities were demonstrated in a student convention at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), New Delhi . HCL Ltd. conducted benchmarks on the system and published results, which are partly reported here: O -Yes is 34% faster than Microsoft's Windows 95 on similar hardware.
It is 29% faster than IBM's OS/2. O-Yes loads 54% quicker than Windows 95or OS/2. O-Yes has a customizable, user-friendly graphical User Interface (GUI), in which every program can be accessed with a maximum of two button clicks. The operating system provides plug n play capability with numerous hardware devices. It has a superior memory management function. The operating system is compatible with Windows 95 & WindowsNT4.0.
HCL, Ltd. has offered an unknown amount to Ramlal Bhagat for purchasing therights to the software. Ramlal Bhagat, described as" quiet and philosophical" by is peers, was not available for comment. Suresh Reddy, spokesman for HCL Ltd., said, "This is the operating system that the world has been waiting for". On HCL's move to purchase the rights to the software, he said,"We are here to ensure that Mr.Ramlal gets fair recognition andcompensation for his innovation. HCL Ltd. Can provide him a firm launch-padto market software globally".Is this the beginning of the end of the Bill Gates' monopoly? Let's see...

beautifull building in shimla

Simla, is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. In 1864, Shimla was declared the summer capital of the British Raj in India. A popular tourist destination, Shimla is often referred to as the "Queen of Hills," a term coined by the British. Located in the north-west Himalayas at an average altitude of 2,205 metres (7,234 ft), the city of Shimla, draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak, experiences pleasant summers and cold, snowy winters. The city is famous for its buildings styled in tudorbethan and neo-gothic architecture dating from the colonial era. Shimla is connected to the city of Kalka by one of the longest narrow gauge railway routes still operating in India,[2] the Kalka-Shimla Railway. Shimla is approximately 145 km (90 mi) from Mandi, 100 km (62 mi) from Chandigarh, the nearest major city, and 365 km (227 mi) from New Delhi, the national capital. The city is named after the goddess Shyamala Devi, an incarnation of the Hindu Goddess Kali

Rock garden chandighar

This unique rock garden was thrown open to the public in 1976. Made out of waste materials like fused bulbs, broken plates and tiles, this fantasy garden was fashioned by Nek Chand.
This wonderful artwork is the innovative creation of Nek Chand, a former Road Inspector in Chandigarh. Molded in the form of an open-air exhibition hall, Rock Garden is spread over an expanse of 64 acres.

It displays various sculptures made up of broken ken glass bangles, china ware, discarded fluorescent tubes, clay and coal. Walls of terracotta pots and the maze of paths, canyons and chambers proffer the glance of a dream world. The fantastic 14 chambers with a waterfall, puddles, statues of animals, birds this garden helps one to stretch ones imagination

Dead whale on NITK sea shore

The whale shark, Rhincodon typus, is a slow-moving filter feeding shark and the largest extant fish species. The largest confirmed individual had a length of 12.65 metres (41.50 ft) and a weight of more than 21.5 tonnes (47,000 lb), and there are unconfirmed reports of considerably larger whale sharks. This distinctively-marked fish is the only member of its genus Rhincodon and its family, Rhincodontidae (called Rhiniodon and Rhinodontidae before 1984), which belongs to the subclass Elasmobranchii in the class Chondrichthyes. The species originated about 60 million years ago.
The whale shark is found in tropical and warm oceans and lives in the open sea with a lifespan of about 70 years.[3] Although whale sharks have very large mouths, as filter feeders they feed mainly, though not exclusively, on plankton, which are microscopic plants and animals. However, the BBC program Planet Earth filmed a whale shark feeding on a school of small fish. The same documentary showed footage of a whale shark timing its arrival to coincide with the mass spawning of fish shoals and feeding on the resultant clouds of eggs and sperm.[1]
The species was distinguished in April 1828 after the harpooning of a 4.6 metres (15.1 ft) specimen in Table Bay, South Africa. Andrew Smith, a military doctor associated with British troops stationed in Cape Town, described it the following year.[4] The name "whale shark" comes from the fish's physiology, being as large as many whales[5] and also a filter feeder like many whale species.

Wahhh... Bigmouth......

The whale shark inhabits all tropical and warm-temperate seas. They are known to migrate every spring to the continental shelf of the central west coast of Australia. The coral spawning of the area's Ningaloo Reef provides the whale shark with an abundant supply of plankton.

How I wish I had never met her!

How I wish I had never met her

I can't tell you how angry I am. You know priya, don't you? That girl who worked in my office? The girl I talked to, smiled at, greeted every morning, helped with her reports, did everything someone would do for a dear friend.

Everyday, when I went to work, I would look forward to meeting her...saying Hi! to her, greeting her with a smile...chatting with her...exchanging little titbits of news (you know how girls love to do that). You know, I would even try and 'guess' what she would be wearing that day!

I still remember the first time I met her...it was near the water cooler. She and I both landed up there for a drink and when she asked me for directions I immediately realised that she was new to the office. So we just got talking - and before we knew it - we had become fast friends!
Friends, I was so happy that day! A new friend - it means so much, doesn't it? It's been a long time since I've had a new friend. I went home feeling just wonderful.

We used to meet nearly everyday...sometimes at the water cooler, sometimes at the ATM...And each time we met, we chatted away merrily - about us, about our other friends, our cousins, our boyfriends, our parents...
And then one day she told me she was getting married. How exciting!! She was marrying a software designer and settling in the US(..?.?.) Of course, she would invite me for the wedding. And OF COURSE, she would keep in touch from the US. Need I have said that?

I remember, I used to count the days to her wedding day. I was so excited...as if I was the one getting married! The day she was to be married, I couldn't concentrate on my work. The day just seemed to drag... At 6.30, I practically rushed out...went straight home, got dressed in my magenta outfit and literally ran to the car.
My best friend getting married! How I hugged her and congratulated her! I gave her a beautiful gift (I spent a fortune on it, without telling my parents). And...(too soon) the wedding was over. We held hands for a long time before I finally tore myself away from her and ran home. I cried myself to sleep that night.

I am still crying. And do you know why? I called her today - because I couldn't keep myself from talking to her...asking her how she was doing...whether she was happy...And do you know what she said? She called me a pest - said I shouldn't call anymore. That we are no longer friends!
What have I done to deserve this? What haven't I done for her? And this is the way she treats me! Diary, I am so upset, I can't stop crying. And I am angry - really angry! Next time I meet her (if there's a next time) I am sure I'll give it to her in full measure...actually I don't think I'll even look at her.
And there's another thing I'll do - pray that no one gets a friend like her.

A Love story

Best Love story

The Best Love story everBefore reading this please dont think of the person you love
A true, touching love story that happened in the Jammu & Kashmir(border)
areas.
The headman of a big tribe had a beautiful daughter, who fell in lovewith a boy who was an ordinary poor person. When the peopleof the tribe came to know abou t their love, they did not like it at all, and so! began to protest about it. Now it happened that the two loversleft their homes for a happy future. The people of the tribe started searching for the two lovers but they could not find them. At last, they accepted their love and asked them in a newspaper to come back.
The people said that if u both come back we will marry u, we accept
that u loved each other truly.

So in this way their love won and the age old attitude of the tribe took a beating.
&! nbsp; The couple went to the city for shopping for the wedding. He was wearing a white traditional dress, and was crossing the road when a car came and hit him and he died on the spot.Thegirl lost her senses. After a long time she recovered and accepted that her love has died. One night she was sleeping in her home with her family. Her mother had dream in which she saw a fairy. That fairy asked her mother to wash the blood spots of the guy from her daughter's clothes as soon as possible. But he r mother ignored the dream.Next night the father saw the same dream, he also ignored it. Then when the girl had the same dream the next night, she woke up and told her mother about the dream. Her mother asked her to wash the clothes on which there were blood spots.

She washed the spots but some remained. Next night she again had the samedream she again washed the spots but some still remained. Next night sheagain had the same dream and this time that fairy gave her last warning to washthe blood spots, else something terrible will happen. This time the girl tried ! her best to wash the spots, the clothes tore, but some spots
still remained. In the evening on same day when she was alone, someone knocked the door, when she opened the door she saw the fairy at the door. She got very scared and fainted. The fairy woke her up...,
and gave her an object, That awe-struck girl asked "what is this..? to which
the fairy replied :
......"kaise bhi daag ho,
jaise bhi daag ho........
Surf Excel hai na..."

I know what u are feeling now... But don't look for me... I'm searching
for the person who mailed this to me...

When you have a lot to say,
and don't know why,
guess what you do,

When you are still wanted,
when you are still remembered,
when you are still important,
when you are still loved,
when you are still missed,
guess what you get A Forwarded Mail.

So dear friends and family next time if I forward you a mail don't think I have only sent you a mail but I've remembered you in my heart.

Indian Carica papaya

Click photo to Enlarge.

The papaya (from Carib via Spanish), papaw, or pawpaw is the fruit of the plant Carica papaya, the sole species in the genus Carica of the plant family Caricaceae. It is native to the tropics of the Americas, and was first cultivated in Mexico[1] several centuries before the emergence of the Mesoamerican classical civilizations.
The papaya is a large tree-like plant, with a single stem growing from 5 to 10 metres (16 to 33 ft) tall, with spirally arranged leaves confined to the top of the trunk. The lower trunk is conspicuously scarred where leaves and fruit were borne. The leaves are large, 50–70 centimetres (20–28 in) diameter, deeply palmately lobed with 7 lobes. The tree is usually unbranched, unless lopped. The flowers are similar in shape to the flowers of the Plumeria, but are much smaller and wax-like. They appear on the axils of the leaves, maturing into the large 15–45 centimetres (5.9–18 in) long, 10–30 centimetres (3.9–12 in) diameter fruit. The fruit is ripe when it feels soft (as soft as a ripe avocado or a bit softer) and its skin has attained an amber to orange hue.
